Who are we?

Snowdrop Organising is founded by Jenny Lord. She is solely responsible for using and storing your data in accordance with GDPR legislation.

At Snowdrop Organising, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our website visitors. This page lets you know how we treat data that we collect from our visitors.

Privacy Policy

Visitors to our website

We do not currently obtain or collect any personal or contact information about this website’s visitors for marketing purposes.

If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will make it clear we are doing that, and we will explain what we intend to do with the information.

When someone visits our website, we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to various parts of the site. This information is processed in a way which does not identify individual visitors. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Contact form

If you send us a message using our contact form, we collect the data you enter in the form. This includes your name, email address and the message you wish to send us.

This information is not stored on the website. It is emailed to us and is only used to:

  • Send information; respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.
  • Process orders and to send information and updates pertaining to orders.
  • We may also send you additional information related to your product and/or service.

Paper records:

The only paper record I keep about you is a copy of my Terms and Conditions document signed and dated by you. This signed Terms and Conditions document protects both of us and is the information I must present to my insurer, Westminster Insurance, in the case of an insurance claim. The only information on the document relating to you is your name, your signature and the date. These documents are kept in a locked cabinet.

Data breach:

In the case of any data storage methods being stolen, breached, or hacked, I will do the following within 72 hours of discovering the incident:

* Notify the police if it is a physical theft or loss of my laptop, paperwork or phone.
* Notify my email provider if it is a case of account hacking.
* In any of these cases, report the data theft, breach, or hack to the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office), which is the Regulator for the UK, if the incident has a high likelihood of severity of a resulting risk to the affected clients’ rights and freedoms.
* In any of these cases, I would contact all of the clients whose personal data has been compromised and would provide advice in order to help them protect themselves of any effects of the breach.
* In any of these cases, I would write up a report of the breach so it was fully documented.

Third Party Disclosure

Snowdrop Organising does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personal data unless we provide you with advance notice. We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.
